LG partners with Oorbit to provide customers with an interoperable metaverse
South Korean multinational conglomerate LG has reportedly partnered with metaverse platform Oorbit to bring interoperable metaverse experiences to LG TVs. In particular, the two will collaborate to bring many interoperable metaverses to the masses, ultimately boosting mainstream adoption in Web3.
Interoperability means that these experiences can be connected and consumers can transfer all their virtual things from one virtual experience to another.
Oorbit is the Web3 company that brings the 3D web to every home, desktop, and pocket. The company claims to have been developing its metaverse technology for over a decade, unlike LG, which is one of the first.
